A Winner and A Little Otter

First of all, CONGRATS to Jenni B on winning D IS FOR DRAMA! I hope you and your daughter enjoy the book!

And now this little fella is here to announce my latest short story publication:


My story, Let's Slide! is in the back-to-school edition of Stories for Children magazine. It's the tale of Otter, who wants to go sliding, but all his buddies are too busy. Guess who he finally finds to slide with him?

I'm a fan of otters, aren't you?

    We would go to the Santa Barbara Zoo when my kids were little just to see the otters. I could watch those adorable critters for hours. Congrats to Jenni, and to you on your short story.

      We have some very entertaining otters at our zoo, too. The family will move on, but I have to linger and watch them play. I love sea otters, too. Soo cute!

    I've always wanted to go up the California coast to where you can see the otters out in the kelp. One more thing to add to the bucket list.
